As a little “New Year’s Eve treat” a new minor release of the ISMS add-on, 1.5.1, was released on December 31. In addition to the introduction of the new object type “Standard Requirements” for importing and managing requirements from standard norms, the documentation of audit deviations introduced in the last major release has been extended. Bug fixes and visual improvements are also included again.
These are the innovations in detail:
New object type ” Standard requirement
With the new object type “standard requirement” and the category of the same name, requirement texts from (possibly license-required) standard norms such as ISO27001, ISO27002 can now be imported into i-doit and their implementation documented.
New attributes in the “Deviation” category
In the category “Deviation”, which belongs to the object type “Audit” introduced in the last major release, the following new attributes have been introduced to better document the audit deviation:
- Deficiency description
- Subject
- Degree of severity
- KRITIS reference
- KRITIS risk
- Measures
- Responsible
- Date
In addition, the virtual attribute “Implementation Status” shows the calculated total implementation status from the assigned measures.
Introduction of a direct link into a risk assessment
Until now, you could only jump to the object to which the risk assessment belongs in the Report Manager. With the new virtual field “Direct link” it is possible to jump directly to the corresponding risk assessment from reports created with the Report Manager.
User-defined settings possible via the client and expert settings
Additional attributes can be displayed for risk assessments via the client settings. And via expert settings, a number can be specified for the individual levels of the extent of damage and the probability of occurrence, which is to be calculated with instead of the actual level.
Bug fixes
As in every release, the open bugs have been fixed. A complete list of all fixed bugs can be found in the CHANGELOG.
